What an incredible experience here. We were a little worried since they don't take reservations, so when we stepped in and saw a full house, we were worried we wouldn't get a table. The host greeted us and immediately found us a table. David gave an incredible experience, he checked in on us but not so often it would feel as if we were being rushed out. The food was amazing. Going to glenwood springs as a mountain town, seafood would be the last thing on your mind, but I am glad we took the chance. We had the calamari (which was cooked as it was supposed to; flash fried with minimal breading). We also split the lobster risotto which was buttery and very flavorful. This was for my wife's 30th birthday and we had an unforgettable experience. Thank you to David and the staff for helping me make her 30th one to remember!

This place is amazing! It was recommended to us by The Glenwood Canyon Resort and it did not disappoint! We had Vinny's Spinny, Carbanero, and Brasato. Everything was extremely good. Our server was very friendly and attentive also. We will definitely eat here when we visit again!!

Tucked away on Grand Avenue is this lovely restaurant that can rival anywhere we go to in the Denver metro area. Greeted at the door immediately, the decor is elegant, a single rose in a petite vase on each table. We started with an Aperol Spritz, my friend ordered a Mushroom Ravioli dish and I ordered Chilean Sea Bass with mashed potatoes BUT asked if I could switch out the tomato sauce. Not missing a step, our waiter brought me a menu, we discussed which of their other sauces would complement the sea bass, and the Sambuca Cream Sauce was perfect. This visit was because a friend of mine flew in from Chicago and we were having a girl's trip to catch up and relax. Modern Brava Trattoria was perfect for making us feel special with some wonderful drinks and dinner but not stuffy or uptight.

This place slaps. It was such a lovely surprise. The waiter was funny and personable. The food was down right delicious and the atmosphere was cute. I highly recommend coming here. By far the best food in Glenwood Springs.

I asked our server to choose a dish for me, because every single one sounded delicious. He chose the Clam Linguine (Linguine Alle Vongole) and he nailed it! The clams were fine- it's the mountains, you can only expect so much- but if they don't make their pasta in-house then I need to know where they buy it, because it was the best linguine that I have ever had. Delicious, cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of al dente bite. Paired with an incredible sauce and it was an amazing dish. I also have to say that even though the restaurant was completely full and our server was also the host and seemed to be the server for the entire 18-20 tables, there was shockingly no delay. Courses were timed perfectly, no long wait, no rush of entrees showing up before apps were finished, drinks always full... I was extremely impressed at how the entire service ran.

I called in to make a reservation for a group of 9 people, however, they let me know that they do not take reservations but I could call in 30 minutes ahead of time so they could best accommodate my group. I let them know the time I wanted to arrive and when I arrived at that time, our table was already ready! The service was impeccable, everyone was friendly and funny. The food was amazing and tasted fresh! The daily baked table bread provided with the oil was probably the best I have ever had! And the prices were very reasonable. This was our first time at this location let alone in Colorado, and it did not disappoint! If I ever come back to Glenwood Springs, I will definitely come here! Thank you again!

I came here as a walk in and had a lovely experience. Starting with the restaurant itself, it's a small space on the main strip and tucked away into a corner and not a huge place, though most of the restaurants are on the smaller side as well. It's decorated pretty trendy, good music and overall a nice atmosphere, though some of the tables are pretty close together. Food wise, everything was excellent! We got the scallop appetizer which was excellent! The scallops were cooked super well, the risotto was very tasty and the asparagus purée was equally tasty. It had a pretty nice helping of risotto as well. I ended up ordering the lamb chops which tasted quite great and came with asparagus and gratin potatoes - which was a very generous sized dish. My date got the Chilean sea bass (special of the day) that was very tasty as well. Service wise, our server was Steven (I think that was his name) and he did a great job of taking care of our table. He checked on us every time we walked by and did an awesome job making sure we had a great experience.

Finally tried this spot on the main drag through town. We walked in shortly after they opened at 5pm on a Saturday and grabbed a table easily. By 530-6, the place was packed and had quite a wait. We asked to sit at the bar but it was dark and they said they don't offer bar seating. We started with be mussels and some focaccia bread. It was pretty good and they brought us some more bread to use for the leftover sauce, which was great. The carbonara was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portion size was exactly what I needed and the prices seemed reasonable. It is funny how so many reviews mention the owner having a pretty intense personality that can be seen as rude. I instantly picked him out and even saw him arguing with a server on the floor, which was pretty uncomfortable. He took great care of us but I could see how some people wouldn't appreciate his attitude towards everyone.

The noodles were Al dente, cooked semi-firm. The poblano pesto was unbelievably good. From first to last bite I was completely engaged. The pasta bowls were great! It made it really easy to twirl the pasta on the concave rim. The bruschetta bread wasn't soggy or too crunchy. It was cooked perfectly!
